Country selection & fundamental decision

The starting point: before it comes to authorities, finances, or moving, the fundamental question must be answered—and this must be thoroughly clarified so that it withstands everyday life, not just the feeling of being on vacation.

An excerpt from the first subchapter, „Basic Decision“:

Why do we want to emigrate?

What will the emigration change for us?

Which countries are generally eligible, and why these particular ones?

And so it goes on, over a total of 15 topic areas: Basic decision-making, Climate & the Environment, Lifestyle & Environment, Language, Residence Rights, Living Costs, Children & School, Health, Safety & Stability, Infrastructure, Work & Income, Real Estate, Pets, Distance from the previous home and the most important reality check.

2nd stay, entry & documents

After the policy decision has been made for a country, the actual work begins: What entry and stay rules actually apply, and what documents do we need to have on hand for this? This point should begin much earlier than many initially think – many documents that are naturally available in the home country are suddenly difficult to obtain abroad.

An excerpt from the first subsection, „Clarifying the right of residence“:

What entry requirements apply to the destination country?

Which residence permit is appropriate for my situation?

What fees are involved, and how long does the procedure take?

And so it goes on, across a total of 5 topic areas: clarifying the right of residence, preparing for entry, personal documents, obtaining documents in a timely manner, and the document folder.

170 points to tick off for these two topics, in a clear PDF with real check boxes – the „Decision & Paperwork“ package, for €12.90. Buy now

3.
